Undergraduates
The Holly Marie Project is excited to offer financial assistance to support undergraduate students in covering exam preparation and testing fees. Each year, our committee will select two deserving students who meet our eligibility criteria to receive this grant.
In addition to the grant, we will provide In-Kind gifts throughout the year to some students who were not selected for the grant.
Rolling Application Opens: April 25, 2026
Application Requirements:
Application must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to exam registration deadline
Submit an essay including the following
Introduce yourself
Why do you want to become a dentist
Explain the type of assistance you need (exam prep book, application fee to dental school, or DAT fee)
If applying for assistance for DAT exam fee, please include a screenshot of your Application Preview page from the American Dental Association, including your DENTPIN number

Graduates
The Holly Marie Project will also offer funding and support (amount to be determined) to two graduate students each year seeking to establish their own private practice. Our committee may select additional applicants who do not receive the full grant award for mentorship and other In-Kind gifts and services throughout the year.
Anticipated Grant Launch: October 3, 2027
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must hold a Doctorate degree in Dentistry.
- Must submit a recently filed IRS Form 1040.
- Must provide receipts for services or equipment purchased for your practice.
- Must include receipts for the lease or purchase of a building.
- Must provide the name of your practice and your Employer Identification Number (EIN)
